Expect The Amazing by DocWhiskey Expect The Amazing by DocWhiskey
So, Hollywood is rebooting the Spider-man franchise.

*Sigh*

Whatever.

Hopefully this time they won't mess it up.

Cool poster, although I'm gonna have to agree with 98.5% of the population who think it's a wee bit too soon for a "reboot". It's almost like Sony was that kid on the playground who gets mad when the other children won't play right with him and says "Fine, I'm gonna go do it MY way. Nyah!" and then goes and breaks your toys anyways. :headbang:

I felt the same way when I first heard the announcement, then I saw the real trailer... Now it's up there with the Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises. Curious what you have to say about it now.

It looks decent, fun eye candy. Granted, I made that original comment 2 years ago when it was announced.

True (and I need to get better at replying (sorry about that).

You probably saw the movie by now. You were right, it was fun to watch.

I got the same reaction. I mean, isn't a reboot necessary when the movie does POORLY? Look at Ang Lee's "Hulk." The movie is like almost 2 hours and Banner doesn't turn into the Hulk until the last 40 minutes of the stinking movie! "The Incredible Hulk" was a must.

But the first two "Spiderman" movies were great, imo. True, Green Goblin was like a jacked up power ranger and "Spiderman 3" didn't do well, but I think the reboot is too soon, you know?

BTW, did you make this poster or was this distributed by Sony?

Yeah, I pretty much agree. And even though Spider-man 3 wasn't as good as it's predecessors, the 4th could've been an improvement. Just because of 1 not so good movie doesn't mean we need to completely start over.

And I made this. I use deviantart to post my work only.

Yeah, I guess Maguire could only play a teenager for so long. "OH NO! He has a wrinkle! REBOOT!" Still, they could've at least waited, I dunno, ten years or so. You should watch "ItsJustSomeRandomGuy" videos on Youtube. He does a lot of Marvel/DC movie stuff and your sides hurt so much from laughing so hard. He talked about this.

I have to admit, I've never been a fan of Sony. First Mariah Carey, then Michael Jackson, now this.
